To get into London from the Essex Riviera on a cold Tuesday late November evening during a pandemic is far from an easy sell but the lure of an evening’s cocktail-making at a trendy Shoreditch venue with some of the Caribbean’s finest was simply too strong.
The wonderful Shirley, Head of UK sales for the stylish Oetker Collection, had kindly invited a small group of us for a fun evening at TT Liquor and the opportunity to meet with the visiting Mareike of Eden Rock - St Barths and Julie of Antigua’s Jumby Bay Island, two of the group’s stunning Caribbean properties.
It was wonderful to discover more about them, chat with the Antigua & Barbuda Tourism Authority and catch up on all things travel with old and new friends.
